Preparation tips

Our expeditions often take place in conditions close to extreme. The selection of equipment is individual for each event. Some of the equipment can be rented by us. But, often, there is a common set of individual things that each traveler must have on his own. Something like “sanitary minimum”.

Personal tableware of the tourist – mug, spoon, bowl, knife. Lifehack, plastic is better. Less weight, can fold, more comfortable to use in the cold.

A headlamp flashlight – should be even if you plan a day trip. Charged and tested before moving on.

Individual first aid kit. In addition to some medicines you personally need, you should take an additional roll of bandage, hydrogen peroxide, Riboxin (in case of dehydration, it is irreplaceable), and a lot of white tape, it always helps).

It is better to use professional socks and underwear, it is tight to the body and prevents chafing. The more you change and dry it, the better it is.

In summer, repellents and mosquito nets are required.

In winter and in cold, damp weather, stock up on chemical insoles. It will warm you, dry your sleeping bag and prevent the digital equipment from being discharged.

Trekking poles. Sold in all sports stores. Relieve stress on the back and legs, stabilize and provide a fulcrum. It is not necessary to have carbon poles and if you are a person of a big weight, then be ready for pole breakages and repairs.

“Sweets”. No way without it. In long hicks, the desire to eat something homemade increases every day, and a variety of nuts / bars / dried fruits is needed for saturating the body and charge you with good mood. Choose it carefully. Do not forget to take some for a friend.

Matches, salt, foil blanket, “hunter’s shot” with 5 charges. Set them aside in a separate bag. You may never need it, or it may save your live.
